Ask
Question what is on screen
Charts, stack traces, checkout forms, spreadsheets: point at the thing and ask about it, without pasting it into a chat window first.
Screen share
Screen sharing turns a vague description into a shared view. Instead of explaining the dashboard, the bug, or the form, you open it and ask.

Stay
The session reads the window you shared, so you stay inside the app you already use instead of rebuilding the same context somewhere else.
Step
Ask for the next action, take it, then ask again. The assistant follows the updated screen rather than repeating step one.
Start a live session and turn on screen sharing, then pick the window or tab you want to share. You can switch windows during the session and stop sharing without ending the conversation.
Only the window you selected while sharing is active. Your other windows, your desktop, and anything you do not share stay out of the conversation.
Sharing is live. The point is to answer what is in front of you as you work, not to build an archive of your screen, so the feed is not kept as a recording.
Debugging an error, reading a dashboard of numbers, filling in a long form, learning an unfamiliar tool, and reviewing a document you are about to send.
Then use the camera or an upload instead. Screen share is built for the back and forth, not for a single still image.
Open the window you are stuck in, turn on sharing, and let the assistant follow along while you work.
